Originally from Tacoma ,Washington, Ken is now a Chicago based Comedian and published writer. His love for crowd work and his energetic storytelling brings audiences into his world of being a dad and ex(mostly current) nerd life. Ken interweaves his crowdwork and jokes to make a comedic tapestry that keeps audiences on their toes, hanging on to every word.
Ken has regularly opened for notable comedians such as Eddie Griffin, Nate Jackson, Nimesh Patel, Nicole Byer, and many more. Ken Hamlett has starred in "Step Into Standup", a PBS Documentary. Online his Facebook and Instagram accounts have generated tens of millions of views. He is the two-time winner of Western Oregon University’s Last Comic Standing and the winner of the 2018 Western Oregon Comedy Competition. Ken Hamlett has also been featured at comedy Festivals such as Just For Laughs Vancouver, 312 Comedy Festival, Gilda's Laugh Fest, Out Of Bounds Comedy Festival, and more. He is the producer and host of the award winning podcast and nationally traveling show: A Drunken Night Out!
